KETAMINE-ASSISTED
PSYCHOTHERAPY
Ketamine is yet another tool I've found effective in de-centering the brain to connect with the body and the psyche. Ketamine has evolved beyond its traditional medical usage and, in more recent years, has been used in significantly reduced doses to address mental health conditions with promising results. Research shows encouraging progress, especially in clients with treatment-resistant symptoms.
I’ll remain by your side, holding space for your journey in comfort and privacy. I’ll also notate your experience for later discussion in the following integration sessions. It’s important to recognize that the best results stem from you. You, being fully committed to your personal growth journey. We use Ketamine as a supportive tool rather than a cure-all solution.

The Transpersonal Research Institute of Psychotherapeutic Psychedelics or TRIPP is a 501(c)(3) public service organization located in southern Arizona, the traditional homeland of the Tohono O’odham peoples. TRIPP’s mission is to provide psychotherapeutic psychedelic mentorship and research opportunities for female and BIPOC scientists and to expand access to safe and ethical psychotherapeutic psychedelic services to underserved peoples in our community.
In my training process for Ketamine-Assisted therapy, I had the opportunity to embrace my own Ketamine experiences, and found them to be transformational in my own personal growth. It's a tool that I hope to use in the future to gain more self-insight.

My role as a trained psychotherapist is to help you set intentions, provide a safe environment, collaborate, and take notes during your experience. During our following integration sessions, I’ll help you integrate any insights or revelations you may have gained in your journey.
During KAP sessions, clients typically experience mild anesthetic effects, alleviation of anxiety and depression, and sometimes psychedelic effects. Moreover, Ketamine's positive impact fosters increased plasticity in the brain, helping clients making connections and changes for weeks following treatment. Like a Retinol for the skin, Ketamine speeds up the brain’s formation of new neural pathways.

What to Expect
My trusted medical provider will perform an initial assessment for compatibility and prescribe the Ketamine in lozenge form, which you can pick up from a local compounding pharmacy. Appointments with the prescriber are held at regular intervals to ensure medical safety throughout treatment.
Your KAP sessions will be held in my private office for your comfort and privacy. We will start with a brief integration from previous sessions, and set an intention. Then, you can take your medication, allowing approximately 10 minutes for it to dissolve. As the effects begin (8-10 minutes), I will stay by your side and hold space for your journey.
The medication is active for about 40 minutes. When you begin to “land,” you may want to share insights and reflections about your experience. I'll transcribe your thoughts and provide these notes to you for further processing between our sessions.
